Congratulations! Twice. Firstly, because you are getting married. Secondly, because you just found the ideal celebrant for that most important of important occasions.
I am “the wedding man”, a very experienced, empathetic, articulate, smartly dressed and professional celebrant who really loves marrying people. To each other, that is.
Over 10 years I have been the celebrant of choice for 330+ happy couples of 42 nationalities (and in 6 different countries!), so I would like to think I am quite good at the job.
My simple aim is to create an unforgettable ceremony that is as unique as your very own love story, so that this key moment on your biggest of big days not only looks amazing, but feels amazing too.
In the interests of inclusivity and to celebrate love in all its expressions, these ceremonies are for absolutely everyone – all personal pronouns welcome!

What's my ceremony style?
I will provide a unique, unforgettable tailor-made ceremony that is meaningful and lighthearted in all the right places and includes an affectionate recap of your romantic journey to your big day. So, whether yours is a huge wedding, an intimate elopement or a low-key vow renewal, I will help you create a personalised ceremony that is unique to you.
However formal or informal you choose to make your momentous occasion, I will guide you all the way: which means hands-on help, practical advice and creative input with all things ceremonial: the style and content and staging of the ceremony so that the high point of your big day is a true reflection of you and your partner’s sentiments and tastes.

An introductory meeting via videochat to see if you like me! – prompt response to mails and all the contact you require in the lead-up to your big day.
A questionnaire to help you tell the wedding man about all the fun, sweet and memorable details of your love story. – useful practical advice and creative input on all aspects of your ceremony including the staging, the music, the readings and of course, your vows, the ring exchanges and any other ceremonial elements that take your fancy.
Hands-on help with useful suggestions and creative solutions about the range of classic, modern and alternative ceremony styles – there are infinite ways to celebrate the big “I do” moment.
A post-ceremony service as MC to help coordinate and present all key celebratory moments on your big day.
Lastly, but not leastly; the best wedding, the happiest guests and the biggest newlywed smiles… ever!

James is a great celebrant. The service was touching, funny and professional. Our friends and family absolutely loved it
When planning a wedding you tend to focus on the parts you think will add value; the venue, the caterers, the band, but you can’t appreciate just how much value a good celebrant can bring to your day and James is a great celebrant. From the first meeting James showed a genuine interest in us as people and our relationship and through this he was able to provide us with a touching, funny and professional service that got our already special day off to the perfect start, he even helped us find a singer for the service. To have all our guests come up to us afterwards and tell us that was the best service they had seen is testament to the time and effort James put into our day and is the strongest recommendation and best compliment we can give.

The perfect wedding celebrant and specially for bilingual couples, our families do not speak one or the other language and James done the perfect ceremony so everyone could understand. The ceremony was touching and funny, exactly what we asked for.
