Congratulations! Twice. Firstly, because you are getting married. Secondly, because you just found the ideal celebrant for that most important of important occasions.
I am “the wedding man”, a very experienced, empathetic, articulate, smartly dressed and professional celebrant who really loves marrying people. To each other, that is.
Over 10 years I have been the celebrant of choice for 380+ happy couples of 42 nationalities (and in 6 different countries!), so I would like to think I am quite good at the job.
My simple aim is to create an unforgettable ceremony that is as unique as your very own love story, so that this key moment on your biggest of big days not only looks amazing, but feels amazing too.
In the interests of inclusivity and to celebrate love in all its expressions, these ceremonies are for absolutely everyone – all personal pronouns welcome!

I will provide a unique, unforgettable tailor-made ceremony that is meaningful and lighthearted in all the right places and includes an affectionate recap of your romantic journey to your big day. So, whether yours is a huge wedding, an intimate elopement or a low-key vow renewal, I will help you create a personalised ceremony that is unique to you.
However formal or informal you choose to make your momentous occasion, I will guide you all the way: which means hands-on help, practical advice and creative input with all things ceremonial: the style and content and staging of the ceremony so that the high point of your big day is a true reflection of you and your partner’s sentiments and tastes.

I have no ideal couple, nor do I have a favorite ceremony type. That would be weird.
My job is to interpret the couples’ wishes, offer advice and suggestions in order to conduct a ceremony that is unique to them. No?
The wedding man is a very experienced multilingual wedding celebrant who will make sure that your vow renewal ceremony is as unique as you and your partner’s love story. The wedding man will create an affectionate recap of your love story so far and provide the necessary atmosphere in the build-up to that big moment when you renew your vows.

Why choose James for your renewal of vows?
In a world of almost infinite choice, it’s hard to argue that I might be the celebrant of choice for anyone. That said, leaning into my 10 years’ experience, I would say that I have the empathetic and ceremonial wherewithal to accommodate the multicolored tastes of a wide variety off couples.
