pretty in pink celebrant photoshoot

Who doesn’t love a pink car? This absolutely stunning shoot set up by one of our gorgeous members, Tara Health-Arnold is the focus on our styled shoot inspiration blog today. That car shone, as did the couple and the suppliers that pulled together this showstopper of a Cotswold Wedding!

Tara has shared with us her experience and the inspiration behind this bright, popping, pink superstar shoot!

We are so excited to be able to show you the exclusive photos from one of our incredible Celebrants- Tara Heath-Arnold – who did the most beautiful photo shoot in the summer.

Here Tara talks to TCD about the inspiration and the process:

A bubble gum pink 1990 Nissan Figaro was the inspiration for this ‘pretty in pink’ wedding styled shoot in the Cotswolds.

Penelope

‘Lady Penelope’ as the car is affectionately known provided a fabulous backdrop to a number of talented suppliers who created a different vision for this wedding styled shoot whilst still retaining the classic feel of a quintessential Cotswolds village.

Led by Maria Madison the photographer, Lady Penelope was dressed and styled by the up-and-coming Floral Designer ‘The One That Bloomed.

The inspiration for the flowers included gypsophila, peonies, delphiniums and anthuriums, all in various shades of pinks, purples and whites with a pop of blue as an accent colour to complement Lady Penelope’s bubble-gum pink exterior.

The combination of these flowers together with the roses crated a modern and contemporary look which was perfect for the style of the shoot. With the use of all flowers and no greenery or foliage this created a full and abundant floral look that brought a sense of quirkiness and romance to the shoot.

The Manor House at Castle Combe provided the most magnificent and majestic backdrop for the shoot, perfectly complementing the pops of pink and the joy of the creativity that was made on the day.

The model bride wore a dress by Alan Hannah Bridal, a beautiful pale pink dress adorned with a chiffon layer with white hearts, absolutely perfect for this shoot.

The model groom perfectly complemented the pink theme by wearing a baby blue suit.  Hair and Make Up completed the look ensuring an elegant finish to both bride and groom in order to complement the fun element of the shoot.

Tara the Celebrant also provided a fun wedding ceremony in front of Lady Penelope, demonstrating that a Celebrant led ceremony really can take place anywhere.

The overall experience and imagery created by Maria demonstrate not only the vitality and fun of this ‘pretty in pink’ shoot, but also the depth and the beauty of the backdrop of the venue and the surrounding Cotswolds countryside.
