Our wedding day was full of the usual flurry of anxious moments in the build up. My wife and I had been working apart in the months leading up to the wedding and only re-united days before. The in-depth plans seemed far away on the afternoon of the wedding. As the hour was drawing closer and the excitement was building, so were the nerves of myself, my best man and key guests who were helping. The venue was new to weddings so they felt the nerves too (though ultimately, they were brilliant). During this hour just before the arrival of the bride, with an increasing flow of guests, last minute hitches, late arrivals etc, Janita rose above everybody and her calm and beautiful presence helped to reassure everybody that everything was actually perfect and brought us all back down to earth. She moved between groups introducing herself and adding a really controlled ambience. Janita was fantastic. A true professional.
Once the ceremony began, Janita spoke with a beautiful, clear voice that could easily be heard across the venue. The choice of readings Janita offered in the pre-wedding day meeting, had made it very easy for us to select the perfect one. The words are all created and curated by Janita from her heart, and spoken from her heart. It was so noticeable during the ceremony that she was projecting her own emotions alongside ours. Truly heartfelt. The ceremony was flawless and Janita held everybody’s attention throughout. A truly wonderful, special celebrant and beautiful person. Thank you so much Janita.
