Hi, I'm Jenny
I am a fully trained independent celebrant based in Kent, but happy to travel to London and far beyond. I love to write and conduct weddings, naming ceremonies and vow renewals, but also more unusual ceremonies – ones I put under the umbrella of ‘finding your joy’. That’s what my whole business and philosophy is about: joy.
Whatever ceremony you’re here for, I promise it’ll be filled with individuality, personality, and love.
I take pride in the inclusivity that is at the heart of my work, and the safe space I create as we craft your ceremony together.
What's my ceremony style?
I’m a creative storyteller (thanks to years of playing D&D!) who embraces my own individuality – and I want to embrace yours by crafting a unique ceremony telling your story, that everyone will leave going ‘that was so you!’.
From the get-go my job involves getting to know YOU. I’ll spend more time on this that I even will writing. Through this I can guarantee a ceremony you’ll love. I’ll be here for support, too. Feeling anxious? we can deal with it together. Want a crazy surprise for your guests? Let’s make it happen! I’ll be reliable and I’ll make sure this important part of your celebration is covered so you can enjoy it!
I love colour and will almost definitely dye my hair to match your colours if you ask me to!

Weddings
My ideal couple is full of personality that they want to showcase on their wedding day. I love to draw on a couple’s energy to create something that represents who they are so that their guests go away saying ‘That ceremony was ‘so them”.
I love anything that’s a little different, and I always love a handfasting!
I have a flat rate of £900* for a wedding ceremony. For that you’ll get lots of time with me, several questionnaires so that I can get to know you, a script with unlimited drafts, and the ceremony itself. This can include a unity ceremony or ritual too.
*Any props or significant extra travel may be extra.

Naming Ceremonies
I have a fun, inclusive business that is all about you and the ceremony you want. I work with families who want to celebrate the birth or adoption of your child, or people the incredible step of renaming in adulthood.
For a simple naming ceremony my fee is £450*. For that you’ll get a meeting with me, several questionnaires so that I can get to know you, a script with unlimited drafts, and the ceremony itself. This can include a unity ceremony or ritual too.

I’ll spend longer getting to know you than writing! I believe the most beautiful and personal ceremonies come when I truly understand your personalities, hopes, dreams and story. We will meet on several occasions, and I’ll have you fill in some (not boring) questionnaires so that my final script is you and your family, through and through.
I’m reliable, knowledgeable and honest. By your ceremony, you’ll know for sure that you can trust me.
