Hi, I'm Arabella

I trained as a graphic designer and worked in magazine publishing for many years. I lived overseas for 14 years (Australia and Southern California) and returned to the UK in 2019. I’m so happy to back and, after being the celebrant for my daughter last year, I have embraced the Independent Celebrant journey wholeheartedly. I passionately believe that every ceremony should be different and reflect the personality of my clients, so I make sure to spend lots of time getting to know you so that I understand who you are and exactly what you are looking for. I create unique and wonderful services, creativity is something I love and excel in. I genuinely love getting to know people and telling their story.

What's my ceremony style?

I take pride in my appearance and am always well dressed. I am tall, well spoken and dynamic. Not much fazes or shocks me, I love a touch of the eccentric and creativity and, most importantly, my mission is to create a day that tells your story in a way that enthrals your family and friends and will never be forgotten.

I love people with a sense of fun and adventure. I adore new experiences, so any couple bringing something different to the table excites me. My ceremonies are joyful and filled with love and laughter. I am happy in any setting, but I do love well thought out environments and am a fan of beautiful aesthetics. I connect well with couples who have a sense of humour and an edge. I love beautiful music and readings because they can really create something special and personal.

A wedding led by me starts at £850. This price gives you my full attention from start to finish. We will spend lots of time getting to know each other – it’s so important I know you both well so that I can create your perfect ceremony.

Naming Ceremonies

A naming ceremony is a wonderful alternative to a traditional christening. It is a time to celebrate and recognise those people you have chosen to have an important role in your child’s life. I am happy to create a ceremony that reflects you and your hopes for your child/children.

I offer families flexibility and choices. We will work together to include symbolic elements if that’s something you are interested in, and we can select special readings and poems. If there are other siblings, it’s fun to get them involved with the day too.

I love fabulous couples…. couples who have been together for 10, 20 30, 40+ years and who would like to declare their love for one another once again. What a beautiful, romantic gesture to make and what an absolute honour to be there with you when you do it!

I think renewing your vows is just as special as when you first married, and so I treat it similarly. The timeline is obviously much shorter, but the work I put into writing the script is just the same.

As an Independent Celebrant, one of the greatest privileges is being able to help people create unique and meaningful ceremonies that honour the memory of those they love. It’s an honour for me to create a bespoke ceremony that reflects the personality and beliefs of the person who has died, and being able to support their family and friends through this time is also such a wonderful gift.

I offer as much or as little as a family needs. I can help with music and reading choices as well as help with writing the eulogy if it’s needed. I will write a ceremony that captures the personality and essence of your loved one.
