Hi, I’m Theresa, call me T!
I’m a fun, feminist, non-traditional Celebrant based in Cumbria & the Lake District.
I love travelling, chatting and connecting with friends & new people.
One of my top strengths is WOO – “Winning Others Over” – ‘in my world there are no strangers, only friends I haven’t met yet’!
Born in Zimbabwe to a Portuguese father and Scottish mother, I have a unique upbringing & family culture. I’m Mom to 3 daughters, am a multi-lingual people person who loves variety, fun & celebrating life stories.
I love non-traditional ceremonies that showcase you as a couple. They’re fun and unforgettable and ooze your personalities
There are no rules around ceremonies, we craft each one together to make them truly about you, which is what I love about being a Celebrant.

What's my ceremony style?

I love to laugh, I love to help people feel at ease, like they’re listening to their friend chat over a coffee. I have a relaxed, laid back style, which feels homely and light-hearted
I love to tell a story which brings connection and community, which brings people together, which includes crying & laughing and takes you on a journey.
I’ll bring a bit of flair to your ceremony, only enough to ensure originality, making sure it’s all about you and your journey so far.
I am keen to do ceremonies which include quirky traditions or no traditions or perhaps new traditions; unique to you, let’s discover them together, as you make your ceremony part of your story!

Naming Ceremonies
A new little one has joined the family and you want to celebrate their arrival. You’re also not religious, so a Christening isn’t something you’re keen on, but you still want a special way to celebrate your bundle of joy with your loved ones.
A baby naming is just the thing! A fun, personalised, joyful ceremony to introduce your little one, name them, do something fun with all the family and have a party afterwards too!
