Hi, I'm Dave
I am an alternative wedding celebrant based in Carlisle, Cumbria.
I fell in love with the wedding world when my wife and I had our wedding in 2022. We climbed a mountain at 3 a.m. to give our vows on the summit at sunrise. It was Scotland so we did it in rain and clouds but hey, the thought was there ha ha.
I founded Dream Come True wedding prop hire in 2023 alongside training to become a wedding celebrant, which I loved every minute of.
After 20+ years in the motor trade and touring around Europe as the drummer in several bands, my heart was drawn to Wedding Celebrancy and being part of other people’s special day.
So let’s do this! Let’s create some amazing memories together!

I want to tell your story, I want the people around you to see and feel the real you. Tell stories of adventures that brought you together, and what ultimately led you to get married.
We will meet up, get to know each other, and then I will create a unique, personalised ceremony that will stay with you forever.
What do I offer?
Weddings
I love couples with a big sense of fun and adventure, let’s not just stand at the end of the aisle, let’s make the aisle the stage of a music festival or venue, or the foot of an incredible waterfall.
Let’s get your favourite music playing, get the crowd involved and just have a lot of fun!
My wedding packages start from £500 and will vary depending on style, location and how creative you get.
Each ceremony will include:
Meet up in person
Complete couple questionnaire
Draft Script
Script Corrections
Second meet-up, follow-up call, skype etc
Final script
Rehearsal if requested
Officiate your ceremony
Keepsake copy of your script

Dave was absolutely incredible
From start to finish Dave was absolutely incredible. He was happy to incorporate any ideas we had, made some really great suggestions and helped to create our perfect wedding ceremony. Dave made sure we were both entirely comfortable throughout and was the best person to deliver our ceremony. The whole thing was perfect and I’m so glad we chose Dave to be our celebrant and help to create a ceremony that was perfect for us.
