You and Your Ceremony is a bespoke wedding celebrant service based in Tutbury, Staffordshire. Owner Joanne’s greatest honour is helping plan, write, and deliver the perfect ceremonies that beautifully reflect couples, families and in remembrance of lost loved ones. Joanne has many years of experience assisting families with life events and has the expertise needed to create unique and meaningful festivities. She strives to provide guidance and support through milestone occasions, positively impacting those she has worked with. With You and Your Ceremony, you can rest assured your celebration will be tailored to your personality and needs by a kind, compassionate, confident, and enthusiastic celebrant.
What's my ceremony style?
I am an open minded, confident and enthusiastic celebrant who will take your ideas and suggestions and create a perfectly unique and meaningful ceremony for you. Whether that be a wedding to help celebrate saying “I do”, a naming to welcome new life or a funeral to remember the life of a lost loved one. I start from a blank canvas every time, will get to know you and will leave no stone unturned or anything to chance to ensure that the ceremony created perfectly reflects you or your loved one.

– A no obligation initial meet and greet (either face to face or via Zoom)
– Suggestions and guidance for vows wording
– Suggestions and guidance for ring exchange wording
– Suggestions for poems and additional readings
– Suggestions and guidance for symbolic gesture inclusion
– A set of questions for you to answer so that I can write a story of you
– A final ceremony checklist to make sure all bases are covered
– A draft of your ceremony no later than a month before the ceremony
– A final version of the ceremony no later than a week before the ceremony
– Additional meetings and a wedding rehearsal
– Wedding certificates
– A presentation copy of the final version of the wedding ceremony

From the time we first meet to the day of your wedding, I will offer support and guidance and through listening to your wishes, I will create a wedding celebration that is truly unique – just for you.
Naming Ceremonies
I offer a full Celebrant naming ceremony service (which includes Humanist, Civil and non religious) and I will write, lead and deliver the ceremony on your behalf.
Full celebrant package which includes:
– A no obligation initial meet and greet to discuss the ceremony
– Suggestions and guidance for poems and additional readings
– Suggestions and guidance for Guide Parent pledges
– Suggestions and guidance for Parent pledges
– Suggestions and guidance for symbolic gestures

There is nothing more precious than welcoming new life. When I see the joy that children bring to their parents’ lives, it is heart-warming and elating. A naming ceremony is the perfect way to celebrate with friends and family.
They can be held at any location of your choice, and you are not restricted in anyway in terms of content and participation of others.

will spend time getting to know you as a couple and will encourage you to discuss the vision you have for the day itself. From the time we first meet right through to the day of your vow renewal, I will offer support and guidance and through listening to your wishes, I will create a wedding celebration that is truly unique – just for you. The added bonus is that you can have your day wherever you desire: a licensed venue, your back garden, on the beach – you decide!

Funerals
I offer a full Celebrant funeral service (which includes Humanist, Civil and non religious) and I will write, lead and deliver the ceremony on your behalf.
Full celebrant package which includes:
– Family visits where I will travel to a destination of your choice or to be held via Zoom if you prefer
– A series of questions about the lost loved ones life, where their life story will be written from the answers
– Additional visits/meetings if required
– Suggestions for poems and additional readings
– Help and guidance when choosing songs if required
– Help and guidance for the order of service content if required
– Celebrant for the ceremony which I would lead and deliver
– A presentation copy of the ceremony delivered

Why choose Joanne for your funeral?
I will meet with you and get to know your loved one through conversation, looking at photographs and discussing their life in detail. I will offer guidance and support throughout whilst showing compassion and allowing you the time to tell me about them. From the information gained, I will write and deliver a funeral service that is a fitting tribute to their life.
This type of ceremony allows you the freedom to have exactly what you want without restrictions.

Attentive, professional and adds a sprinkle of magic!
Jo gave us such a lovely ceremony. She is super professional, organised and very warm. She makes your service about your partnership and unique to each couple. Jo does this with pride and enthusiasm. We couldn’t recommend her enough.
Ceremony was perfect
Jo made our day very special with a tailor made ceremony that was personal to us. Took lots of time to find out about each of us. Our guests loved it.

Jo is absolutely fantastic, she was so attentive and considerate to our needs as a couple. Her approach is extremely personal, she has a great knack for finding out about you and turning it into beautiful words. She adapted and tailored every element of the ceremony to suit what we wanted for our day. We could choose from loads of pre-written vow options, write our own, a combination of the two which was so nice when you’re like me and hated the idea of coming up with something yourself!
We also had a hand fasting ceremony which we loved as something a little different and reflective of us as a couple.
Every single one of our guests told us how beautiful they found the ceremony, how personal it felt and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house!
