As soon as we had our first introductory call with Sel, we knew she was right for us. She had a fun energy and enthusiasm but was also laid back. She made us feel at ease right away and we felt she would be the perfect fit for our relaxed wedding at Jervaulx Abbey. The process with Sel was smooth from start to finish. The ceremony you conducted for Milly and I was quite frankly perfect. Everyone knows that organising and planning a wedding is a stressful event, but with your understanding and professionalism we received a bespoke, unique ceremony tailored to us without the stress. Everybody has commented on how perfectly it was delivered! With a few pre-meets over coffee, you set us at ease with your intuitive personality and your ability to articulate us and our story was truly beautiful. I particularly liked your grasp of literature; the options for readings and poems were exactly what we wanted and highlighted the true us. We simply could not have asked for a more perfect ceremony.

Julie was amazing – the script that she prepared for my Mum’s funeral was absolutely spot on, she captured her so well from our discussion about her life.Julie’s delivery on the day was wonderful and although it was very upsetting to be there, I felt Mum’s life was celebrated and that the ceremony was a wonderful farewell to a lovely lady. I could not have asked for more – it was everything I wanted.

Julie was our celebrant at our wedding on Dartmoor. Throughout the process she was very helpful and gave us space to think about the kind of ceremony we would like and had many great suggestions which we incorporated into our ceremony. She always made time to speak to us and we also met in person, which was greatly appreciated. On the day, Julie was fantastic, she showed up early and throughout the ceremony she was professional and also helped to keep us relaxed. She delivered the ceremony we dreamed of and was an integral part to the service. We are very happy to have had Julie as our celebrant and would highly recommend her.

All of our guests said it was the best, most personal ceremony they had ever been to. It still had all the traditional elements we wanted, but it was super fun and had the guests laughing, crying and cheering the entire time. Debbie was just so wonderful to work with. She is very cheerful and charismatic which is exactly what you want for your wedding. We did not have to do a thing when it came to our ceremony. We had no stress as she took the wheel and steered us through the best day of our lives. We are forever thankful to Debbie and are so glad she was our celebrant. We could not recommend her enough!

We had the great honour of having Sally as celebrant for my Mum’s funeral. She was extremely professional, diligent, kind and worked within a short window frame to write my Mum’s memorial. I could not imagine anyone doing a better job. I am so happy we reached out to Sally and that My Mum had her as her celebrant for her celebration of life. We are forever grateful to Sally.

Pete was absolutely amazing at conducting the evening ceremony at our wedding, so much so that almost 4 years down the line we still have our guests talking about how brilliant it was. Pete made the ceremony personal and fun, his presence effortlessly held the crowd of almost 120 people and it felt like having a friend stood up there with us. Pete was extremely professional, great at communication in the lead up to the event and came up with some fantastically creative ideas to make the whole event incredibly memorable. We honestly cannot recommended him highly enough.

Ellen conducted our committment ceremony in May. From the moment we met it was clear Ellen was sincere in wanting to know as much as possible about us as a couple for our special day. She was truly engaged, very professional and the words she produced were completely personalised. I would (and have) recommend her!

We used Karlina for renewing our wedding vows. We decided at the last minute to do it and found Karlina with not a lot of notice and we were so Iucky she could squeeze us in. She came and met with us and noted down all the details of exactly what we wanted. We wanted something fairly low key and what she provided was amazing. Karlina wrote the perfect words and completely understood what it was we wanted. It was lovely to have her there and she was so warm and welcoming. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough. Grace is such a lovely warm and caring person and we can’t thank her enough for delivering such a lovely funeral service for my Grandad. From the moment we met Grace we knew she would be the perfect person to help us celebrate Grandad’s life and she didn’t disappoint. She came to meet us and sat with us for over an hour just chatting about Grandad and his life. She asked us about our memories of him and the special moments we’d shared together as well as his early life and work history. I have made a personal choice not to ask for reviews from grieving families. This funeral was for a much-loved sister who was also a much-loved mother and grand-mother. This ceremony included a hymn, a eulogy from her daughter and a tribute from her brother. There was also silent reflection, a prayer and a Grief Blessing. A special lady.

From the beginning, Nikki was professional and friendly. Her communication was incredible. Nikki got to know us as people and was able to incorporate this into our ceremony to make it very personal and funny. She really put us at ease and that way, we enjoyed every moment. I am sat here wondering how to say thank you… I’m not normally stuck for words!!! ? I think it was the best send off for mum that we could have possibly had considering everything that has been thrown at us. Erika did a fantastic job conducting our wedding ceremony. We were both unsure exactly what we wanted but she guided us through the whole process, meeting several times in person and online, we were so thrilled with the result. Sally is the most loveliest person you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. She really did make our day feel so special and we had so many guests tell us that they really enjoyed the ceremony and loved how personal it was. Talulah did an incredible job for our wedding in Malaysia. She wrote a very detailed and heart felt script that was very unique to us. Gaynor lead the service for my father’s cremation and a more personal service you would be hard pushed to find gaynor captured the essence of my father and this was commented on by friends and family who attended. gaynor was professional, friendly, compassionate and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a celebrant. I can only hope that when my time comes she is available to lead my service
