Hi, I'm Jacqueline
My name is Jacqueline, known by everyone as Jac and I am a Civil Celebrant living in Eltham, South East London.
I transitioned into this role following a successful career in banking. I have a lifetime of working closely with people.
I specialise in funeral services, memorials, naming ceremonies and wedding services.
These are all life moments and I work tirelessly to ensure they are exactly what you envisaged, individual and perfect.

I’m interested , I’m creative and I absolutely care.
I am very relaxed and I want you to feel comfortable and relaxed throughout all interactions.
I invest my time in finding out about my clients, listening to their thoughts and helping them bring their ceremony to life.
You are my sole focus, I am privileged to spend my days doing something that I absolutely love and this is reflected in the quality of my work.

Weddings
Each couple and each ceremony is unique.
It’s very exciting and a wonderful time in your life, Congratulations 🥳
It’s one of the most memorable days of your life and I want to ensure it’s created with due care and attention to ensure that it is.
I love the variety and individuality that is reflected during each ceremony .
You can include the legal registration of your marriage into the ceremony or separate the legal signing element from your ceremony and choose an unlicensed venue.
I can conduct your wedding ceremony anywhere you like, the possibilities are endless ! and I only work with one couple each day, I’m not going to be rushing off anywhere and can stay and support the evening celebrations.

Naming Ceremonies
Naming Ceremonies involve you making a commitment to your child. It involves your friends and family committing their support.
There are many ways in which a child can come into our lives.
A naming ceremony is a wonderful way to acknowledge your baby or older child joining your family.
A naming ceremony could be to celebrate an adoption or blending families together.
It’s a joyous occasion to share with the special people in your life.
As a Civil Celebrant I can ensure that your vision is brought to life.
The event can be held at any location and at the time of your choice.
My approach is very flexible.
I am excited to collaborate to develop your vision into a memorable and loving ceremony.
Whether it’s at a venue or outside in a special location such as the beach, a family garden or some woodlands.
It’s not traditional like a christening in a church but choosing a Celebrant reflects your non traditional approach.
I offer an initial discussion, follow up meetings to discuss and share ideas, the creation of your bespoke ceremony. On the day I will be with you every step of the way. I will lead the ceremony, incorporating the personal touches, the inclusion of your guide parents, guardians or god parents. The sharing of poems, music and symbolic gestures, I will celebrate alongside you.

I love to listen, to understand and to create. I am a nanny to six amazing grandchildren, I’m very hands on and love interacting with them. I am very comfortable in their presence and not fazed by the unexpected! I would love the opportunity to discuss how you would like to recognise and celebrate your new addition. Let’s collaborate and create wonderful memories with your loved one’s. I will be with you every step of the way. Renewal of Vows
Once upon a time, you said “I do” and now you are ready to say “I do again “ ❤️ it’s a continuation of your fairy tale.
It could be to celebrate a significant wedding anniversary, or because you love being in love.
A wonderful opportunity to reaffirm your vows in the presence of your friends and family.
I can help you to create a loving and meaningful service that is as unique as you both are.
I can help you with your vows or support you to write personalised vows for you to exchange at the Ceremony.
I will meet with you both, understand what your dream renewal entails and hold your hand throughout the process.
On the day I will proudly support you throughout the service and share your joy as you make your pledges in front of your nearest and dearest

Follow up meetings where I can write you loving and meaningful vows or support you to write your own personalised vows to each other.
I can support you to choose the right elements to make your day truly special.
On the vow renewal day I will be at the venue very early , will lead the ceremony and stay to enjoy your celebrations .

Funerals
I am an independent Celebrant.
You can contact me directly and I can work alongside your preferred Undertaker.
I have worked with a range of Funeral Directors.across numerous locations.
I can create traditional and non traditional services.
It is an absolute privilege to work alongside the family and create a service and celebration of their loved one’s life. This is truly my favourite element of my role, your input is integral and collectively we can create the most wonderful tribute for your loved one.
Additionally I can support you to honour a family member with a memorial service. At a location and time of your choice.
I can help you to create a loving and memorable remembrance that commemorates someone special in your life.
I can support you with a living celebration , a pre funeral , that happens before a person’s life ends. Enabling you to choose the memorial service you wish to have.
I meet with my families and spend time with them to fully understand what type of service that they want.
Using the information gathered and wishes of the deceased and next of kin I will create a funeral service reflecting the life and precious moments of your loved one.
I will share my final script to ensure that this truly encapsulates our discussion and includes the milestones and
Precious moments definitely recounting happy memories , often resulting in a giggle during the service whilst also including the individual elements and all additional contributions.
On the day I will conduct the service and facilitate & support the contributors.
I will create the Order of Service.
I will also conduct internment of ashes and memorial services, specially written and bespoke for your loved one.
I can separate the cremation or burial from the celebration of life service if you prefer.

Mums Funeral
Jac was our celebrant for our dear Mums funeral, Jac is also my cousin. I would recommend Jac to anyone, she is the most caring, helpful, thoughtful person you could ever wish to meet. Every step of the way Jac was there for us, not because we’re cousins, but because that’s who Jac is. She is a people’s person, and is there to make sure your day goes as easy as it can. Her patience, kindness and thoughtfulness shone through. Jac works with you, she knows the importance of your day. Nothing is too much and she will be there for you whenever you need her . If you want someone who is there all the way for you and gives you her complete care and attention then I can highly recommend Jac. You will not be dissapointed .
Mums funeral
Jac did my mums funeral. Jac is my cousin, she is a beautiful person in side and out who really cares for everyone. She is kind, loving, and caring, she made a very tough day so much easier. It was a very personal, emotional day for her but she kept it very professional. Her thoughtful support made all the difference. We are a split family, 2 of us sisters live in the UK and my other 2 sisters live in Australia but she ensured we were all involved together all the way. I would highly recommend Jac for any special event you may have. Thank you Jac for making mums send off so very very special.
A beautiful send off
I cannot thank Jac enough for leading my grandfather’s funeral. In speaking to the family, she was able to orchestrate a service that really told the story of the man he was. Her style is one led by warmth and compassion and I am incredibly grateful that she gave me the opportunity to read a poem I had written, despite it being a last minute decision and one that hadn’t made it into the order of service! She made sure our final farewell was a fitting tribute and I will not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a celebrant going forward. Thank you, Jac!
